The Cuthbert James Foundation is dedicated to honoring the extraordinary legacy of Cuthbert James, B.E.M., whose lifelong commitment to public service, cultural preservation, and community upliftment continues to inspire future generations.

Founded in his memory following his passing from complications of diabetes, the Foundation strives to make a lasting impact across Saint Lucia by empowering children, preserving our rich cultural heritage, promoting education, and raising awareness about diabetes prevention and healthy living.

Guided by the values of compassion, integrity, service, and community, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, every tradition deserves to be preserved, and every life deserves the chance to be lived with dignity and good health.

Through partnerships, advocacy, educational programs, scholarships, cultural initiatives, and community outreach, we seek to continue the work Cuthbert James devoted his life to, like building stronger communities, inspiring hope, and creating opportunities for those who need them most.
